WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US

‘Fantastic’

I went here with a large group and I’m back here today with my family because this tea room is amazing! All the food is homemade and satisfies both my sweet and savory tooth…Bottomless tea and ample food to choose from. Tons of tea varieties – all wonderfully aromatic and tasteful – the choices seemingly endless. Staff is very kind..

‘Typically British, but with even more’…

We visited the C&H tea room last week while in Winchester, VA and even though I am not an avid tea drinker, the sheer range and flavors on offer, converted me. So many quality tea choices and the owner so incredibly knowledgable about teas all over the world. The cakes and savories were simply too much for us to finish, but they gave us bakery boxes to take with us what we couldn’t eat – Nice touch!. Excellent…

‘True High Tea’

A friend took me her for a birthday celebration and it was fabulous! The tea menu offers something for everyone. I had the Ginger Darjeeling Peach which was amazing. The tea pots were bottomless so you could try different teas – the food was bountiful and delicious!

‘Afternoon Tea at its best!’

This was our second visit and would definitely say it is our favorite tea room in the area. We typically frequent hotels on our travels for afternoon tea and this is our top choice. The tea selection and quality is by far the most extensive we’ve seen on a menu. The host and hostess were extremely knowledgeable on all of the many teas and the high tea was simply incredible…

‘Delicious’

My family and I went for afternoon tea this week and we all left raving how it was the best we have ever had! The building is historic; the service was the best I have ever had anywhere, the tea menu the most extensive (many teas I just never knew of) and the food was simply spectacular. Having reviewed over 200 restaurants, this has been my most memorable visit, period!

‘Don’t eat before you go!’

One of the best tea services experienced this side of the Atlantic. Compares with the Plaza and Carlyle in NYC. Excellent service! Amazing tea selection, over 100 varieties…Scones, clotted cream and homemade jam delicious – wonderful High Tea. Mini Cornish Pasties were my favorite…
